Sports Briefs: 2013 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest Media Day

(The Gab Four didn't attend Media Day at Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, mainly because there was no Media Day. But had there been, here is what they would have liked to ask these Major League Eating competitors . . . Sponsored by 3 Spoons Yogurt)

Joe: I'd like to ask Joey Chestnut how he holds so many hot dogs, as small as he is.

Chris: I’d like to ask Tim “Eater X” Janus if he has ever accidentally eaten a hot dog wrapper.

Brad: I'd like to ask Matt "Megatoad" Stonie when did he start entering eating contests.

Ralphie: I'd like to ask Molly Schuyler what made her decide to become a competitive eater.

Joe: I'd like to ask "Notorious" Bob Shoudt if he ever orders hot dogs when he eats out.

Chris: I’d like to ask Pat “Deep Dish” Bertoletti if Cab Calloway’s “Everybody Eats When They Come to My House” could be on the playlist he listens to while eating.

Brad: I'd like to ask Juliet Lee what is the best experience she has had being in eating contests.

Ralphie: I'd like to ask Crazy Legs Conti what his favorite brand of hot dogs is and how awesome it was to eat enough bacon to earn a world title in bacon.

Joe: I'd like to ask Pablo Martinez how do you keep from vomiting them back up.

Chris: I’d like to ask Miki Sudo if she has ever inadvertently surprised an unknowing suitor with how much she could eat on a date.

Brad: I'd like to ask Marcos Owens if it's more difficult eating a lot of hot dogs or a lot of some other food.

Ralphie: I'd like to ask Adrian "The Rabbit" Morgan if he ever gets sick from eating so many hot dogs.

Joe: I'd like to ask Sonya Thomas if she thinks the men have too big of an advantage with their larger body mass and stomachs.

Chris: I’d like to ask Erik “The Red” Denmark if he ever has aspirations of appearing alongside the Vikings in a Capital One commercial.

Brad: I'd like to ask Eric "Badlands" Booker how he has maintained the top position in Major League Eating rankings for 15 years.

Ralphie: I'd like to ask Yasir Salem if he would rather run a marathon or win an eating championship.

Joe: I'd like to ask Aaron Osthoff what tricks are used to get into the heads of the other contestants just before the contest.

Chris: I’d like to ask Juan “More Bite” Rodriguez what he does when he finds a tough bite in his food.

Brad: I'd like to ask Jeff "The Beastman" Butler how he got "The Beastman" nickname.
