Power Rankings: Ice Cream Flavors

“Plain” ice cream. Enough said.
Rocky Road
The ice cream of choice for cereal lovers and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. General Mills actually made a Rocky Road cereal in the ‘80s, featuring a chocolate puff, vanilla puff and marshmallow in a three-member rock band as their mascots.
I have come to love chocolate ice cream very much for one main factor: at my house we buy Neapolitan ice cream, but my kids only eat strawberry and vanilla, so my wife and I are left with the daunting task of attacking the middle. It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
Cookies & Cream
This may as well be called “Oreos & Cream,” seeing as how the cookies used in this flavor of ice cream are always Oreos. Would it upset society to feature an ice cream with Toll House cookies or Frosted Animal cookies?
Mint Chocolate Chip
A delicious combination that tastes like York Peppermint Patty and chocolate chip goodness.
Butter Pecan
It has one of my favorite ingredients, pecans, in it. The butter part is just a nice little extra that also helps put on the extra weight, as well. Great taste and extremely yummy.
What's not to like about vanilla, chocolate and strawberry in one place? I usually eat all the vanilla first.
Keep the strawberries fresh, or make sure they are cut small if frozen. No one likes to have to break up a golf ball-sized frozen clump of strawberries with a plastic spoon.
Adds a healthy crunch to the quite unhealthy choice of ice cream.
If only those who drank coffee every morning would replace it with coffee ice cream, creating an ideal scenario involving businessmen and women commuting to work each morning holding an ice cream cone.
